Description
Visit majestic buildings and surreal sculptures as you solve puzzles scattered throughout NYC's oldest district. This interactive walking tour combines scenic streets, historic facts and escape game-style clues to offer an unmatched NYC experience. Discover which worldwide institution started out with a group of men trading beneath a sycamore tree, which churchyard Alexander Hamilton drilled his unit in to prepare for the Civil War, which Founding Father used to moonlight as an Agony Aunt, all while enjoying challenges spread across the city streets.
Along the way expect to see: The Federal Reserve, City Hall Park, a legendary chapel that survived 9/11, a pub on a street that's been serving beer since 1632, remnants of New Amsterdam, Battery Park and Castle Clinto, and more. Plus puzzles, great cafes and pubs, and plenty of surprises. This is the perfect way to explore how Manhattan developed from its 17th century origins into the sprawling metropolis you see today.
How It Works
Your team will receive clues on your phones that, once deciphered, will guide you to interesting and scenic parts of the city. At these you will solve riddles, explore the story and make decisions that will impact the rest of the game. The route is walking distance and features optional breaks at great pubs, bars and cafes along the way. The clues require no prior knowledge and come with hints to make the experience something everyone can enjoy.
