Description
A puzzle-filled exploration of the architecture, music and strange secrets that helped make Soho and Covent Garden the iconic areas they are today. Take in the legendary sights and little-known gems of Trafalgar Square, Leceister Square, Seven Dials, Soho Square Gardens, Neal's Yard and more, all while solving escape game-style clues in the city streets and unlocking fascinating facts. Which punk rockers shared a favoured pub with Mozart, centuries apart? What English culinary staple was invented in Covent Garden? Where did London's plague-ridden used to pray? The squares hold many secrets, these are just the tip of the iceberg.
Along the way, expect to see: Waterloo Place, the National Gallery, the studio where Bohemian Rhapsody and Ziggy Stardust were recorded, the birthplace of London's early 20th century cinema scene, a 17th century hotspot for bare-knuckled boxing, plus puzzles, pubs (including one Dickens used to frequent), and plenty of surprises! This trail is perfect for music enthusiasts, those who love the scenic unknown and anyone looking for a great day out discovering new things in two of London's most beautiful districts.
How It Works
Your team will receive clues on your phones that, once deciphered, will guide you to interesting and scenic parts of the city. At these you will solve riddles, explore the story and make decisions that will impact the rest of the game. The route is walking distance and features optional breaks at great pubs, bars and cafes along the way. The clues require no prior knowledge and come with hints to make the experience something everyone can enjoy.
