Story
Description
Discover the secrets of Victorian London with this escape room-style game through Soho, Mayfair and Covent Garden. A ghostly stranger from another era drifts forlornly through the cobbled streets, will you help him or hurt him? You decide! Follow riddle-filled clues and shape the story with your choices.
At the same time explore the highlights and stunning hidden corners of these historic London areas. Expect to see: Carnaby St, the Royal Academy of Arts, Burlington Arcade, Trafalgar and Leicester Squares, Goodwin's Court and Covent Garden. All this plus puzzles, challenges, rest-stops at great pubs/cafes and plenty of surprises.
This riddle-filled journey is perfect for teams looking for a narrative adventure that captures the essence of Victorian London and explores the city's streets as they are today. Step back in time, journey through the present, lose yourselves in the mysteries and wonder of this great city.
How It Works
Your team will receive clues on your phones that, once deciphered, will guide you to interesting and scenic parts of the city. At these you will solve riddles, explore the story and make decisions that will impact the rest of the game. The route is walking distance and features optional breaks at great pubs, bars and cafes along the way. The clues require no prior knowledge and come with hints to make the experience something everyone can enjoy.
** There is a short route overlap with our "Secrets of the Squares" route, different clues and only a very short period.
** This route is the same as "Clause & Effect" over the festive period.
